WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, advertising or related fields
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a sales and marketing, or events role
- Tech savvy-ness with prior experience using Google Suite, online sales platforms, and project management software is a PLUS!
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (know how to write a Run of Show like a serious pro!)
- Valid Colorado Driver's License with clean driving record (use of company vehicles for events)
- Flexible schedule with availability to work nights and weekends is a MUST!
- Physically able to stand for 8-10 hours, move kegs, and lift objects up to 40 lbs (seriously, beer is heavy!)
- Embrace continual improvement - able to creatively problem solve, actively learn, take risk, and give and receive feedback from peers, managers and leadership
- Type A, go-getter, Johnny or Janey on the spot, highly organized, self starter are all key attributes for success in the role
WHAT YOU’LL DO?
- Pre-event collaboration, coordination, planning, and communication, with multiple departments and external vendors, sponsors, partners, etc. to create and execute successful events from start to finish
- Boots on the ground: presence at external sales events (handsells, on-premise promotions, beer festivals, etc) to ensure we have the people, supplies, and resources for killer event execution
- Maintains an accurate schedule of all Denver Beer Co. internal and external sales and marketing events
- Logistical guru - coordinate resources, people, vehicles, event equipment, and supplies; then organize and execute the load-in, set-up, break-down, and transportation of DBC resources to and from event sites
- Denver Beer Co Ambassador - have a strong passion for craft beer and belief in DBC’s brands and mission. Actively promote DBC and our brands, engage with event guests, maintain positive relationships with vendors, breweries, festival volunteers and staff
- Create post-event recaps, launch surveys, and assist the Marketing Director with ROI reports, event budget reconciliation, etc. as needed
- Assist in other marketing efforts as needed
- Live, teach and train the Denver Beer Co Standards that are core to our culture and success!
