Señor Piña and ¡Venga! Now Available in Cans!

Amigos! Have you heard? Señor Piña and Venga are now available in cans! They are both easy-drinking beers, two of our faves from the taproom, and like a Piñata, we hope you’ll crack one open to find lo mero bueno inside.

Señor Piña is a blonde ale fermented with pineapples and dry hopped with Mosaic hops to create a tropical fruity dream. The beer is smooth with a low bitterness, light bodied, fresh, easy drinking and 5.0% ABV. For complementary pairings, Señor Piña  does well with other fruity dishes, salads with cranberries or strawberries, or as a dessert complement for fruit cobblers. This brew also adds a nice contrast element for burgers, carne asada or barbecue.

¡Venga! is a traditional Mexican Lager, fermented cold with Mexican lager yeast to create a light and easy drinking beer at 5.0% ABV and 16 IBU’s. ¡Venga! is delicious when served Chelada-style with rimmed salt and a lime wedge but is also great on its own. ¡Venga! translates as "come on!" or "let's do it!", a phrase that Cerveceria Colorado head brewer Jason picked up on while traveling around Mexico with Mexican friends and craft brewers.  ¡Venga! pairs well with seafood or chicken dishes to match intensity and also goes well with grilled meats. For spicy dishes, ¡Venga! is a good companion as it will cut the heat and balance out spicy foods such as enchiladas or your abuelita's secret family recipe salsa.

To celebrate these two buenas cervezas, we're throwing una gran fiesta on Saturday, April 6 starting at 11 a.m. We'll have specialty Mexican cuisine all afternoon, Cerveceria Colorado swag giveaways, photo booth and best of all a $4 cerveza can bar on the patio. Come join us for a fun afternoon of cervezas, comunidad, y amigos. And if you can’t make the fiesta, no hay problema, you can find these cans at liquor stores around Denver any day of the week!

¡Salud!

Great beer! taste is supreme and much better than consuming a product of large scale company that does not care about the people they serve. Gracias Cerveceria Colorado number 1# choice for my beer .

I really wanted to like Senor Pina, I love fruity beers-- but if you don't enjoy IPAs don't reach for this one. The bitterness may be described here as low, but it's present in every single sip. I didn't see anything about "dry hops" on the packaging, maybe I missed it-- but if it's not described that way it really should be.
